Pressure Canning Homegrown "Zesty Salsa" For The 1st Time...
Your place is massive i love it. Wish i could have fruit trees. I live in Alberta were it's zone 3 so i can't have to much fruit trees.
coconut are my favorite flavor
Didyouhav to wash them first?
I started following you waaaay back when you did the 30 day living off of what you could grow, forage or I think hunt. You looked like you were going to waste away to nothing by the end but I was cheering for you.
Jwjejejejej😂😮
What I do for a bag of beans and a pickle
The Buff Brahma looks too ready for heat stroke. If you are closer to the coast it can be okay but if you are in east San Diego it might be a problem. We got a lot of micro-climates here, so one needs to be cautious.
Would also love to know how much that pond setup cost... Seems extensive.
Since it's for the chicks, do you worry at all about metals in the rainwater, or do you filter it in some way like the greywater? Can I know how, if so?
Do you not have gophers? I can't plant anything directly in the ground without the risk of it being eaten.
Hi Kevin. I love the decision to plant the citrus 4' apart because it's showing people that fruit tree can be close to each other! which is a fantastic experiment for all us space poor folks out there!
I wish I had this much space to grow in, and that sun 🌞 love it
I thought it was against the law in cali to collect rain water? No?
I can't stand y'all and the laughing intro😂😂😂
You guys get such good results hope i can do nearly as well as you 😅🙏
Hahah i love the banter you guys have. Keep up the great work 😊
Subtitles: (men laughing simultaneously). thanks.
I absolutely love your irrigation system. Must think how to do it in my garden
I am terrified of wasps, and I bought some of those perfume breeze roses, and I cannot for the life of me decide where to plant them. I don't know if it would be okay to put them near a sitting area because of the wasps. They will literally steal your food...they love hamburger.
If I think about it, I always find the wild berries often on the edge of a wooded area and they become shaded in the afternoon, so I'm wondering it they just had too much sun along that back wall there.
damn didnt know you cant put different varieties next to each other and i threw sweet corn rigt next to "normal" corn that we get for feeding our chickens
Hi, how often did you water your dahlia’s ? I live by Los Angeles, is getting hot and I wonder if I should water them every day, twice a day or every other day. and did you cover them for some shade? Did
How were you able to win the battle against bermuda grass? Mine is invading my raised beds. :(
Thanks and let us know about the Magnolia Channel program that Epic is on
Can I buy corners to make the planter like you did for the dragonfruits?! Please please?!
grow a meadow!
Does it taste like artichoke? Potatoes?eggplant?
I've added radishes into just about anything that's boiling or roasting other root veggies and the family seriously has no clue. I find that they add to the depth of flavor much like fennel bulbs do when they are cooked, but the harsh flavors you get when they are raw cook out.
Any problems with cats trying to catch the fish?
Would love to see you reel mowing that bermuda
hey I want to buy her my house is 1819 Montana Ave est
Really looking forward to a berries guide :] and please talk about companions to all the berries :]
7:44 Whoa this took me back to Air Force Basic Training where one of my duties was Bed Aligner lol
I would like to see you guys helping me build my little backyard!!! 😂 just started with one raised bed now I’m addicted!!!😂
That works for peaches. Did that when I moved an established peach that needed to move. Had. Lot of root damage into a full sun hot area so when it got ugly I just cut everything off and came back. The good thing is you have a nice thick starting stem so it bounces back quick.
Please finish that front orchard part! I feel like that's one of the most important parts to start early because you want it to fill in and block the street view
Def need some more palms and tropical looking plants all around but especially near the pond IMO
Pretty gate
you should add bees to your garden...become a bee keeper!
you should make the rose trellis thing a tunnel with other trellises
get rid of the the berumda section! either expand the orchard (my preference) or put more raised beds in there
my take on the PEACH TREE and its success: starting plants/trees in horrible and tough conditions is actually a genius hack.....it causes them to go into hyper utility mode..... THEN once you switch them over into lush conditions - they EXPLODE in growth...because they are still on the "poor conditions settings" SO I dont think it is an accident or coincidence that it was struggling and then magically turned around.....its actually how they work.
Just amazing how much you've accomplished in such a really short time. Also can't believe I've been watching for so long! I've learned so much over the years and have really appreciated everything you've produced for us!! The pond looks just amazing! Everything is so green / grown and my "idea" book for our property is full of ideas from your homestead. Congrats!!!
I love this friendship lol awesome progress. Definitely inspiring !!
I LOVE all the stuff you've done, but that pond ecosystem? I would like to marry it. I will give you 35 jalapenos and some passion fruit for the right to walk that baby down the aisle.
Bermuda city could be a nice place for beekeeping or a native habitat of some sort (birds, butterflies)
One night in Bermuda(city) makes a hard man humble Not much between despair and ecstasy One night in Bermuda(city) and the tough guys tumble
Love the rainwater catchment systems. i admire you for that. your pond is pretty good too. i am not an aqua scape fan, but that is a nice pond!
Would it be possible to sow a shit ton of wildflowers and other natives in your Bermuda square? It might turn into an awesome meadow. Any gardeners in your neighborhood might get mad though, because all the pollinators will be hanging out at your place.
Wow 😮. What progress!
